The day has arrived. The two of us feeling like agitated xmas birds!
10.25 a.m - BRIDGE CLIMB
Nervously, we forced down some breakfast sat waiting to be called.
It can't be that high......on mental repeat.
The whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxed which was worrying at first. Once we were suited and booted Alex our climb supervisor lead the way.
Matt saying he was nervous to Alex was the best thing that could have happened. We got to lead the group up the bridge.
First task - The most scary point.
A gantry underneath the bridge dangling over the harbour with a see through walkway.
Second task - Ladder ascending up through the road to the start of the bridge climb. (Easy, Easy)
Third task - Walk up the arch to the centre point. Surprisingly relaxed with no fear present.
Fourth task - Cross the bridge to the otherside at the centre point. See through walkway. Second most scary point.
Fifth task - Get back down to safety.
The parts that we refer to as scary weren't even that scary and the whole climb was a breeze, literally the wind was so strong. We are so glad we did it as it we are now open to doing more height based adventures. The feeling of achievement, looking over the harbour from the centre point was cosmic. The photos are cool too.
The rest of the afternoon was spent at Watsons Bay with Malice, the essex girls, A & L and some hermit crabs that were racing.
A movie night was the perfect way to finish our stay with A & L, although we did out face ourselves with fatness!
