Leon has had an interesting week, as I speak he is currently nursing a hangover from the night before, he decided a good blow out was needed as a successful week needs to be rewarded, sky vodka was the choice beverage.. Last night kings of Leon were playing literally outside his front door, he had attempted to receive free tickets for the inconvenience however the stadium would not have it, the porch was a good enough place as any so as he sat with Luke singing (trying too) lyrics to the music so familiar, it was evident the night was shaping up to be a pretty hectic one.. As he departed to hit up the night clubs the final vodka was necked and it was time to leave, on the way to the first venue he and Luke were navigating around 4 ladies minding our own business and out of the blue a fist came from know where and jabbed Leon straight in the ribs! The blow came as a shock but did not cause any damage.. After the incident he asked her is that the way you usually greet people? He carried on walking, wishing her the best of luck with that technique, as many others would have acted a little differently.. Unphased, they proceeded towards the flying Scotsman where the Guinness was flowing steadily until it was time to move on, they managed to befriend two hot sheilas who allowed them to share a taxi to their choice of venue which was called the bakery, he was a little put out by the misleading name as he genuinely thought we were going to an all night maple pecan danish provider, pleased to say the club was fun, a mix of indoor/outdoor areas with live music and loads of people to meet. Having met some cool girls who were going to the blueberrie gardens to pick fruit for work, they were offered a job but declined as Leon has more job opportunities than days of the week.. Lucky him! By the time the night was over it was 5am and the sun was coming up.. Amazing. On the job front, last Monday he secured a placement in a photography company who needed a saleman to make warm calls as part of a marketing campaign, the concept of winning a gift certificate going towards a photohoot really intices people to go ahead with a service after a day training he managed to make 4 bookings, the job is not commission based but the basic and people makes it worthwhile, so currently he is working on the panphlets for the gym in the mornings and on the phones into afternoon, he just can get away from sales and marketing. He was offered a job as a retail assistant for a surf shop owned by bilibong, and currently working on the HR manager at the gym as there is a sales role available and if he wanted sponsorship it could be provided! Leon's movements keep changing and for now he is staying put in Perth but who knows.. Watch this space!

Black Swann Being offered sales jobs and delivering on them are two seperate matters. The skilled traveller will question which job would progress their career, return the best long term goals and open opportunities in a direction that keeps them from the bacon slicer once the sell by date approaches! BTW where did you get that hat!
Travel pig True, Leon knows where the best bacon is kept and the prize pig is staying as far away from the butcher as possible.. As for the hat it's a mystery, he found the pictures on the phone in the morning.. I'm gonna have to keep him on a tight leash as it could be him in the slaughter house!
Black Swann So where is the blog this week?
Tracey and Joe Nice to hear you are getting on so well, and you are keeping busy! Hope we get the next update soon? Its nice to hear what you are up to! xx
