Just spent a few days in Hanoi which was wasnt that great. Traffic there is absolutely insane, theres so many bikes and they dont really seem to have any sort of road rules apart from buses and lorries can do what they want as they are bigger than everyone else! Saw a guy on a moped get completely cut up by a bus and then got jammed underneath it, the bus driver just didnt care and probably would have kept driving with the guy still stuck under the bus unless the other bikers had stopped him! Theres wasnt that much to do in hanoi, we spent one day checking out the museums and usual tourist places, the ho chi minh museum was prety weird...there was one exhibition of some giant fruit on a giant table for some reason?

Iv been up in north Vietnam in a place called sapa now for a couple of days, this place is prety remote up in the mountains and the weather is a lot cooler here just like back in wales, nice to have a break from the heat in hanoi! Me, dan, daniel and sandra rented out motorbikes yesterday and went driving around the mountains in the area which was awesome, stunning scenery everywhere. Stopped at some waterfalls and then visited this hill tribe who showed us their village and houses which was prety cool, even though in the end we all had to buy something off them (i boought a prety stupid looking hat).

Just gona chill out now for the rest of today until the train leaves tonight to go back to hanoi and then sort out our trip to ha long bay, cant wait for that!
