I spent the first week in Kuala lumpur, stayed at a place called wheelers guesthouse, which was a bit of a dump but met some cool people there. Stayed in the Chinatown area of Kuala lumpur, from there was prety easy to jump on the LRT and MRT trains to get around the city.
