Went out last night for the first time, had a pretty good night. Was a bit drunk by the end of the night but not too bad. Only spent about $30 I think, beer is so cheap!

Places we went to were Guava, Sailing Club and Why Not bar. Home about 3am on the back of a motorbike, cost me 20 000 dong (a bit over a dollar).

Feeling ok today but I think when you can get up at whatever time suits you and you don't have to go to work it takes a pretty bad hangover to make you feel any worse than ok. Belinda decided to be extra loud this morning which I was really happy about. I would say that I will be glad when she goes but she will be replaced by some other loud person I'm sure, so at least I can tell her to shut up!

We are about to hire some motor bikes (about $10 for the day) and go and see some of the sights around Nha Trang. We have had 2 days of bike riding so I think we have the traffic situation sorted. Road rules include driving (riding actually, there are alot more motorbikes than cars) on the footpath, riding on the wrong side of the road in the opposite direction to the traffic, turn right at any time regardless of whether the light is red, orange is the new red (which means that if it's just turned red you can still go), pre-empt the green light like there's no tomorrow. It's all good though, no such thing as road rage here. Basically the bigger you are, the more right of way you have. Motorbikes give way to cars, trucks and busses, pedestrians give way to motorbikes.
