Hey Leigh 6 weeks gone, i bet that seems like about 5 minutes ago i dropped you off at hobart airport. as you have said in your messages this trip will also give you time to grow and learn a little more about life and experiences you would not really gain here. So absorb all this and remember whats happening now will be a memory in less than 5 minutes. 4 weeks next wednesday until mum and i meet up with you. the way time is racing by that soon go. you will be in Thailand soon so find out all about the pros and cons for when we arrive. you better try to learn a bit of the lingo as well because we wont have a clue. i guess by now at times things may get a bit slow in you schedule and you may get a bit home sick, and pehaps you may have already found out. after a little will the home sickness goes and you are back on the adventure bike again. so keep enjoying all the experiences mate, good and bad because it wont be long and mum and i will be looking at you in person. Love you mate. Dad.

Hi Dad. Trip has started off great. Seems like I have been away alot longer than 4 days. I took some footage of the Cu Chi tunnels and the War museum, it's very sad. I hope that the three months doesn't go quick but i'm sure by the end of it I will think that it has flown by. I will keep you up to date for sure.
Dad
Hey Leigh sounds like the trip has started off real good. I would love to see all that war stuff myself. Terrible thing war and seeing this sort of thing brings that reality. Keep enjoying all your experiences as your 3 months will be gone real quick. Just ask Belinda re her previous trips. Say hello to Belinda & Tish, happy adventuring and keep us up to date on events. Love Dad & Mum.

Cliche'd as it sounds, I will be learning about myself, taking things into my own hands and making the most of every opportunity. There are some things on my mind right now that I am working through, hopefully I will have all my ducks in a row by the time i take off in a jet airplane.

Hey little brother..so the beginning of the journy is close. One leg all but planned and the rest open to interpretation!! Vietnam is going to rock...and even more so bc we get to do a little on our own and take in the experience!!! Right now as you read this I want you to answer this question and respond with the answer...what is it that you think will be the biggest thing that will come from this trip, learning or touristy stuff? And what is your greatest hesitation / concern right at this moment? xx
