Hi,
Ok so this computer puts random spaces where ever it so chooses so bare with me.
Right i cant believe i forgot to include this in my last blog but i did. We were s taying in Miami resort in Koh Lanta, which was ok ish. One night we ventured next door to Mong bar, not just a clever name. all the owners seemed to do was smoke weed and eat magic mushrooms, whatever time of day they looked hammered. After an interesting dinner, we were sat having a drink when the owner came over with various jars of shall we say merky fluid. From which he offered us all a shot. The first two were seasnakes in what i can only assume from the taste (yes i had some) parifin. They were vile and tasted really salty, im not sure what put me off more, the taste or the seasnake star ing at me through the bottle (it also clearly not happy with the arrangement. Then finally the piest de la resistance (spelling????) a shot of thai whiskey stewed in monkey brains. it looked vile, and the taste was near indescribable, whiskey with chunky bits of brain matter. According to the owner it was fine the, the monkey was a bad monkey, who steels his fruit from the trees so the shot him, curried his body and stewed his brain in cheap thai whiskey. Delightful, i survived so its ok.
Am running out of time but quickly about phi phi. its beautiful here, i really love it. by far the nicest place ive stayed, although my hotel leaves a lot to be desired, a very hard bed in a very small shed on stilts, you can see through the huge gaps in the floor boards to the ground below.
Ok today, a group of us went on a tour of phi phi lay which aparently is where the beach was filmed. it was lovely, and we picked the perfect time of day to go, early afternooon (incase you were wondering), its good because the mass of chineese tourists with their lifevests had moved on to more photogenic pastures. We did some great snorkl ing, I am not the biggest fan of things that l ive in the sea incase they try and eat me. But the fish and i soon came to an agreement, i will continue not to eat them and they wont eat me.
the day culminated in a cliff dive, i have never been so terrified in my life, pictures to follow soon, it was about 30 feet high, which didnt look that bad from the bottom. But when i got up there, wow. I have picture of me the moment i jumped from the rock, which i will get online soon. in which i look terrified. Needless to say it was not a pain free experience and i have proven once and for all i can't fly. I landen on my side, my bum, and im quite sure my testicle (sorry). It instantly nocked the wind out of me and i have the biggest of bruses, an existing bruse that got worse which i will explain another time due to shor tness of time. Other people seemed to land a lot worse than i did so im quite happy with how it turned out. It was great for the experience but i certainly wo nt be doing it again anytime soon. Or other activities which invovle falling from hights either.
Right im running o ut of time but have loads more to say. Hopefully by sat i will have finally so rted all my flights o ut and i will be abl e to finish my blog and tell you about all the other things i have been up to.
