Hello from Koh Toa.

Ok well i will start with the journy of how we got to Koh Toa, the guy in the travel agent in bangkok said all we needed to do was get on a bus for 12 hours then off and get on a boat for a few hours. aparently not that simple, we had just manage to get some sleep at about 1 am after being on the bus since 7 and told we were to get off. We sat at a random bus stop for not really knowing what we were doing for about 45mins. Than another bus came along and we were told to get on, again not really knowing where we were going but the driver seemed assured we should be there which was good enough for me. 30 minutes later we appeared at a bus station again which we were told we had to wait for 3 or 4 hours for the boat. It was so incredibly hot and uncomfortable a few of us tried to get some sleep on the floor. Just as i was getting to sleep, i was told that we had to get back on the bus to find the boat. After that it was plain sailing, excuse the pun, straight to koh toa, which is beautiful. Long golden beaches, warm crystal clear water, and more coco nut trees than you'd know what to do with. The pase of life is really laid back, but still like everywhere in thailand there are 12 year olds on mopeds and mobile phones trying to run me down.

Our room in Koh Toa is just off Sirri beach we can infact see the beach from our room, the room has a bed, a fan and a leaky bathroom, what more could you ask for. Although there is the faint aromur of the York gents toilets everytime we come back to our room, but hey its just a reminder of home.

Oh i didnt include it in my last entry but it still makes me laugh, in bangkok we happend to whitness a thai ladyboy having a go at a group of (clearly) english guys, shouting in very broken english, and a very deep voice, "why you say i have cock?" over and over again. It was quite amusing, and quite self explanitry why these upstanding group of english chavs thoughts she had a penis. She had hands the size of a giant and her throat looked like she was tryings to swollow a grapefuit, not the most convincing of lady boys. As she picked up a bottle and smashed it on the floor, we thought we should probably make a move.

Ok so next i am going to try and get a boat to koh phangang for a few nights then a boat to koh samui, which i'm not sure about because i think its going to be very very expensive. But the book says its worth a look.

I havent been to badly eaten by mozies yet, i have two small bites but rosie has been eaten alive, 10 new bites. I will try and upload a few photos but this connection is rubish and the power occasionally just goes out for a few seconds, very strange.
