We took a mini bus to Hue today for 3 hours. Some nice scenery again, but it's raining!
Went out for some lunch at Ushi - apparently the owner, who also served us, is famous in Holland and a couple of the people from Belgium who are in our group also know her. She used to present a TV program similar to Denis Penis.

It stopped raining, so we thought we'd make the most of it and go see the Forbidden City. It's similar to the one we went to in Beijing but not as grand. Most of it was destroyed by different wars too, so it's going through restoration. Was nice but we didn't spend too long there.

Not done too much today and felt tired pretty much all day. We had a couple of hours rest before tea and I had an hour kip.

Our tour leader booked us into a restaurant called La Carambole. When we got there I realised it's the one that's top rated on Tripadvisor. I had chicken in chilli lemongrass and Therese had tuna steak in lemon and herb and we shared mash potato and rice. Was a really nice meal

Got back to the hotel early for a change as I was still tired (!) and Therese wanted to make some phone calls - Happy Birthday Michelle!!

Today, I thought I'd spare everybody the long winded essays that I usually write!!
