We got picked up outside our guesthouse and headed to Krabi town pier. We picked up a Dutch couple on the way from Rotterdam who ended up being our friends for the trip. We arrived on the beach front - which looked like a seaside strip in Spain. There were bars, restaurants and shops. I sat in a bar with the bags whilst Lee went off looking for somewhere for us to stay. Just as I was about to drink his drink (because i'd finished mine) he came back. We packed up, left the bags in the room and went for breakfast. After breakfast we came back to get our things and the lady who ran the guesthouse told us the bus to Ao Nang was around the corner. It comes every 15mins and was 50 bahts each (£1) so we hopped on. We didn't realize it was a bus at 1st because it looked like the white van/tuk tuk/taxis but they let you know they're a bus and where they're going by shouting across the road to you. The bus changed at Phuket then arrived in Krabi town at night. The views driving into krabi are (may I be so bold as to say) awe inspiring. Some how the earth has created these islands of limestone all around this area and it's left a stunning view in and around the island.
