We hadn't heard the best reviews about Phuket so we came just to change buses from Koh Lak to Krabi. When we arrived in the bus station we had to chose between minibus or 'VIP' bus. We went with the cheapest, the minibus.

We got picked up from our guesthouse bright and early and taken to the harbour for some coffee and toast. We picked some fins then boarded a speedboat to head for the Similan islands. We decided to get our clothes washed so we put them in first thing and headed off into the town to replace our flip flops. We hadn't had chance to replace the ones stolen in Koh Tao. We booked the boat back to Kuriburi for today so we just had the morning to enjoy Surin for the last time. As we ate breakfast a monkey strutted past us then casually climbed in the tree to relax.
