We packed up, left the bags in the room and went for breakfast. After breakfast we came back to get our things and the lady who ran the guesthouse told us the bus to Ao Nang was around the corner. It comes every 15mins and was 50 bahts each (£1) so we hopped on. We didn't realize it was a bus at 1st because it looked like the white van/tuk tuk/taxis but they let you know they're a bus and where they're going by shouting across the road to you. About 8 people can fit in and we found it tends to be used by the locals and the few random tourists who've started walking and flag it down.
It was a bit of a drive to Ao Nang beachfront. It took just over half an hour but the scenery is beautiful. In the daylight the lumps coming out the ground and framing the town are so unusual. I was amazed. Lee loved it too. It looked like we were in some crazy mountains.
