The minibus turned up, at the guesthouse, one hour late but it was fine because the main bus was waiting for us.... There wasn't a toilet on the bus so I asked Lee to ask for a toilet stop. Next minute the bus pulled over and the man got off and asked a family, sitting at the side of the road, if we could use theirs. They said yes so half the bus got off to use it... A hole in the ground!
We finally arrived at Sihanoukville bus depo were loadsa tuk tuk drivers were waiting. 6 dollars they wanted to take us to our guesthouse.... It cost 6 dollars to get here from Phnom penh?! Lee got it down to 4 dollars...
We arrived at ocean walk inn. It's just by the sea. We threw are bags in and went for food. I've not been feelin too good... Nothing wild I just feel sick.... Food was ok. The flies were annoying though!
We walked down, the 100 yards, to the beach to chill out but there were children everywhere trying to sell sell sell. The guesthouse warned us to not give or buy from the children because the more money they make the more their parents will stop them from going school, to work on the beach. There were woman too, stroking my legs, saying they can thread the hairs from them. They said my legs were 'really hairy'! RUDE and embarrassing! We've only just arrived, loads of people were sat around and they could hear these cheeky mares. I've only just shaved?!
After a bit we went back to get changed - There's a neon paint party on the beach tonight!!!!
Once we'd got changed I still didn't feel well but I really wanted to go to the neon party, so we went down the beach. Lee got some food but I didn't feel like eating, I was struggling to drink water without feeling sick... Next minute the children were back but with fireworks! These are chidren as young as 5-6 trying to sell fireworks!! The next min they all ran to the shore and lit them. They stood laughing holding the firework as it shot colours into the sky?!
Getting out the room didnt make any difference i still felt sick so we gave up and came back to the room :(
