Today we decided to sit on the beach and chill out. So we did!
There is a blow up slide, climbing mountain and ball and a huge trampoline in the water. I was feeling better so I dragged Lee on with me. (Lee was being Mr Sensible worrying about our things whilst we were in the water together- so I gave them to the couple sunbathing next to us...)
The swim out to the blow up things was hard enough never mind the climbing, sliding and jumping!
When we came back to get showered I remembered, I'd put factor 50, in a strip along my nose and shoulder and not rubbed it in.... We were meeting up with a couple of girls we'd met in phnom penh so I just had to go out looking like a red and white cow?! :/
The girls met us at our guesthouse and we went for food and drinks. We went the greek across the road from Ocean Walk Inn and it was rubbish. We ordered a starter (which didn't come) and we all ordered Mousaka. When the Mousaka came it was a tiny thin slice with a lettuce leaf! Lee wasn't happy. He had to have words with the owner. They tried to charge us for the starter! He came and apologised giving an excuse of 'my waiter not come in because he want to take a girl out and i am very busy'.....
When we were on the beach having a few drinks, a little later on, we saw 2 men who we'd met crossing the border to Cambodia. We'd bumped into them again in Phnom Penh but only for a brief chat so this time we asked them to join me, Lee, Sandra and Caitlin. They did. Gerald is from Argentina (and speaks 5 languages) and Ulrik (could have been eric) is from Italy (he was way better at English than i was Italian) We all sat on the beach until the wee hours.
