Today is Ms Tolen and Mr Wards birthday!!!! Happy birthday you guys :)
In honor of both birthdays we booked a boat trip to 3 islands.
The 1st island was for snorkeling (couldn't see any fish), the 2nd was bamboo island and the 3rd again to snorkel (and again no fish). Before we got off for Bamboo Island we had a BBQ on the boat. We both opted for Barracuda!
Bamboo Island is so peaceful. We could hear the waves crashing as we lay in our hammocks. There is a cool little bar/ lounge with beanbags on the floor to chill on too and huts if you wanted to stay on the island.
When we got back we went for falafel then just stayed in the guesthouse bar.
I had been going on all day about the unlikely love attraction between the couple on our boat. She was a pretty, 20 year old, Cambodian lady and he looked like a miserable old man. It was really interesting to watch (i hope you cant see my eyes through my sunglasses)
Lee pointed out, whilst we were sat in the guesthouse bar that night, that the pub across the road is a place for the unlikely couples to meet! Then I saw it 1st hand! It was like a new person walking into a bar in Widnes and all the 'regulars' pouncing on them. Seriously it must be a massive ego boost for these, not very attractive, older men. The girls practically fight for his attention. Then when ones picked the others console the one who tried too hard and got dismissed....
