Hey all
well goa what a place at first i wasnt really that keen on it but i deffently grew to like it,
this is going to be a very short blog because i havent done a thing for the last week, wake up have breakfast at my local cafe, walk to the beach stay for lunch and dinner have a few drinks chat to random people, go back to room falll asleep. that is pretty much all i have done, except on day i went with some people to afort and walked around, aparently lots of bollywood films were filmed here. so that was it very relaxed very slow and did nothing.
i did have a bit of trouble leaving Goa though all the trains were canceiled and the buses were very expensive, i wanted to go to Hampi so the friends that i did met on the beach had a car so they drove me some of the way where i was able to get a bus that was a lot cheaper, so arrived in hami at 2 in the morning after 5 buses and 2 rikashaws, my rickashaw found somewhere for me to stay by shaking the lady owner a wake felt a bit bad but then i am paying for the room.
Hampi is an acient city that is full of temples and ruins scattered all over the town, the first day as i was tired (was woken up early soem one dropped metel plates out side my room door) so i decided just to walk around went to a few temples and saw the local sites. next day i hired a push bit and off i went didnt realise how spread out soem of the temples were but was ok as i went 10 mins stopped to see a temple then carried on, the sun was hot and there wasnt much shade. temples were really pretty and the locals were funny in that they were all so excited to be there especially the children. 10km i arrived at the last temple that was very pretty. i had nearly gone around in a big circle all that was left was a 1/12 km path back to town typical the path is rocky climbing over bolders so couldnt take the bike so i had to cycle the whole 10km back the way i came to town. not really exausted but had headacke from too much sun and not enough water.
Today i leave i have a night train booked to bangalour, i managed to get the last seat on the train how lucky. so off tonight to a city not for long as preffer the villages better.
2 months to go and i will be home so speak to you all soon. lots of love Leanne xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
