Hey all how are youall doin.
I have been haveing a great time, well execpt the bus to and from Leh that was a bit painful it took 20 hours to get there me and louise were in the fround one of us had to sit with the gear stick between our legs so swapping every few hours. journey wasnt to bad till the last 4hrs when everything started to hurt and go numb, finally when the drive was over we both felt we had been throgh a fight so bruised. finally we find a guest house not easy when everything is shut at 11pm but did in the end and nearly lost my second phone but found it after 5 mins walk down the road luckly.
we spent 2 days recovering from the journey sleeping, eating and taking short walks up mountains (hard work when not used to the altatude) we looked around the treking offices and foiund a good 4 day trek. i no each time i say never again but the last one i actually enjoyed and how hard can it be climbing a mountain 4900m high. well i soon found out. suffering really bad from the altude not good felt like a really bad asmatic very hard to breath. but finally after a lot of moaning (from me) i made it only a little bit behind louise. very cold at the top jumpers needed no snow at the moment but in a few months the hole vally will be covered. going down was a lot of fun sliding down most of the way as very steep and took a fraction of the time to get down. each of the 3 nights that we stayed we were in tents me and louise ended up shareing a 1 man tent so not much space wasnt to bad till the last night when one of the poles snaped so even more uncomfortable. The first 2 campsites really nice quiet relaxing we had a little stream to wash and relax by some of the others went off climbing smaller mountains. but the last wasreally busy ots of people and hourses to carry there stuff so a lot more noise that night but so many stars at night thousands never seen so many managed to see the milky way as well really cool.
then finished 4 days treking the part going up i didnt like but the rest ding down i really enjoyed had a lot of fun and the other people on the trek really cool a french couple and a swedish guy.
next day we were going to rest but we ended up getting a jeep to the highest road in the world then got mountain bikes and cycled all the way down 2hrs up 3 hrs down so much fun kept getting faster and faster no one fell of but louise did do a spectacular skid have no idea how she managed to stay on, i was impressive. next day we caugt a bus to the next village and climbed to the palace looked around then walked to the next village and climbed to the monestry on top, they were in the middle of prayer and we were aloud to go in and watch sitting quietly chanting all of a sudden drums banged and a whole musical orcrestra set up sacred me to death but after the shoke was quite nice to here. walking down met a monk who offered us tea very nice. walked out side and everyone else was buying tea from the shop so i much preferd mine.
Ihave now left louise she was mad enough to stay and do another trek she is going to climb the big mountain at 6130m high i didnt fancy it so i have travelled back to manali and left her there. so here i a in manali waiting for my night bus only 3 more hours till i leave and only a short ride 10hrs going to go so quick lol.
well i am sorry that i havent put any photos on for a while i managed to catch a virirs on my memory card form one of the computers when i downloaded the photos and lost about 100 so now really wary of comnecting my camera to the computers if i find one that i think is ok i will load them on so that you can see them all but you are not aloud to laugh especially of the ones climbing the mountain i was very cold so neaded lots of layers.
