hey all what a busy time i have had.

i have arrived in india and managed to find the dirtiest room to stay in it was horrible but only staying for 1 night so going to stay. well where i stayed is on the main bazzar right near the train station and it is really crazy there are people cows cars cyclos tuktuks and more cows everywhere. ainy season as well so really muddy. i arrived in the evening only a quick look around before bed. when on internet found out 2 friends fo home are out here so going to meet up with amanda and louise in Agra (Taj Mahal) the next day. so after the hottest night sleep ever (no fan as broken) i spend the day walking around getting chai (very sweet milky tea) and eating samosas yummy. there are so much clothes and had to restrain myself but didnt do very well as i did buy a few tops. dinner time and lovely aloo (potatos) and then henna tattoo i got my bags got cyclo to train station and waited for train. 1 hr afterment to leave we left i was the only white person and was cornered by some men then the guard came and rescued me and put me with some other westeners. train ride ment to take 4 nut actually took 5 lerarning that time doesnt matter anywhere in asia even india. finally arrive in agra 11at night and all the hotels full so end up sharing a room with 2 girls from the train in the middle of nowhere.

after a good night sleep i woke and went to met amanda louise and louises friend sam. really weired but good seeing them.

we went off exploring and went to a red fort them to the taj mahal. tha taj was built beause the kings wife died and he wanted some where to lay here\ to rest onc build he was arrested but his son and locked in to the red fort. once he had died he was buried next to her. the taj was so impressive huge and we saw the sun setting from it over it from a roof top resturant.

Next day me and louise were heading north while amanda and sam were going home so we said goodbuy and off me and louise went for an 18 hr train trip. wasnt to bad but typically dry til w had to get on the train so was soaking then stopped after 5 mins. but finally in the morning we arrived at Amritsar which is where the golden temple is a sikhs temple where they all come on a pilgramige. we stayed in the temple dorms for free and ate once a day from the free hall. so good food , dhal and chappatis and a desert really good. the temple was really pretty especialy at night when the sun set behind it and turned every thing yelow asnd the sikh music in the background. in the temple was so pretty god everywhere and looked really magical.

after a few days here looking at other temples and walking around (couldnt do much way to hot) we caught a lon g bus journey to Mcleod Ganj in the hills where it hasnt stopped raining. it is where the Dhlai Lama went to excile whn tibet was taken over by China. so we have walked to a waterfall and around the town, today we were going to go for a longer walk but it hasnt stopped raining all day. doing nothing waiting for our night buus to manali tonight which is further north and colder. tin the bus we ahave to climb 5000 feet so really high but hopefully wont get ill.
