A strange old day today. We walked to the tram stop this morning, after a
nice breakfast. We caught the tram to Cordeghene where Zia Emanuela lives.
We had lunch, a big lunch, and celebrated Zio Pino's birthday. I bought him a bottle of red wine and we had a cake at the end of a beautiful lunch. After lunch dad and I went to the team stop and caught the tram down town to the cathedral of St Anthony. We wandered through the cathedral and marveled at it's beauty. I was last here 43 years ago, and I can clearly remember being in awe of the place then, as I was today. After a long walk around, dad and I sat in the piazza and enjoyed a beer together. He shared some stories about his childhood and how trough things were. he also started to cry and said he really missed mum. We walked back to the tram and arrived back at Emanuela's place at about 7.00 pm. We had dinner and sat around talking before heading back to the hotel. We will be checking out and going to Zia's place from tomorrow because Pino and Tarcisia will be going home. Before leaving tonight we said our goodbyes to Pino and Tarcisia. It was very sad and she cried and would not let me go. I promised that I would return tonsee her. Early night.
