Day 1

Hi we just got off a 8 hour bus ride from London to Edinburgh. It feels good to get some of this Scottish air. This place is wicked, it's so green and wet. Our hostel is looking down on a lake, we got a great photo of the sunset (sorry having problems downlaoding photos, we'll be sending Craig a CD soon with some photo's).

Day 2

Edinburgh is fairly small compaired to most major capital cities, we had a good walk around today for a couple of hours.

The town is built around Edinburgh castle making it a very unique city. All the buildings are very old with hardly any new buildings to be seen. 

Tonight we went down into the haunted vaults under the city where witches were tourtured, and thousands of bodies killed by the plague were burried. Very eery.

Mum, we finally tried Yorkshire pudding.

Day 3

Today we went on a day tour through Monarch of the Glen and onto Loch Ness were we tried to spot Nessi! 

The drive was quite long but very pretty as we drove through the Scottish Highlands. When we arrived in Loch Ness we went on a boat cruise where the weather was icy cold. but a lot of fun as we watched the sonar on board. On the way home we stopped for Fish and Chips - the best in Scotland, but certainly not as good as home.

We have been enjoying many hot chocolates and sweets in the UK.
