After a slightly better nights sleep, thanks to the foam mats the Irish girls left behind, we were woken up at 6:30 again(!) and had to pack up all the tents ready for Wayne to load up his roof rack while we enjoyed our last Fraser Island activity - a swim in Lake Wabby! Today we were awoken at 6:45am by Wayne after a 'lie-in' - he normally gets everyone up at 6:30! We'd had heavy rain during the night but we'd managed to stay dry inside our tent, although we were pretty stiff after a night on the sand! An early start for us today as we had to check out at 7am. It took quite a while to sort everything out before we left - it was mostly the food we had to sort; each group had to check they had everything in their boxes that was on the list!
