We made the most of our extra day in Vegas by sneaking into the Stratosphere hotel to use their pool. The people at the hostel told us that noone checks so you just have to act like you're staying there! So off we went in the sweltering heat and spent most of the day relaxing and swimming in the pool. For the night we had booked a trip through the hostel - a limo ride down the strip stopping at the 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign and ending up in a bar downtown with cheap drinks! We had a great night and met some great people. Being in the limo passing all of the famous hotels was a surreal experience but a great way to see the strip for the first time!

Our plan of leaving early and getting an early night didn't really happen and we finally rolled into bed at around 2am, ready to be picked up 5 hours later for our tour. Welcome to Vegas!
