Time to head back to Phnom Penh for the final time. After breakfast, the bus picked us up from the hotel for the 6 hour journey. Time for a tour around the area in a tuk-tuk after breakfast on the rooftop of our hotel...very nice! We left at 8:30am and our first stop was Battambang's famous bamboo train. This is basically a wooden platform on wheels with a motor on the back, which hurtles along a single-track line between two villages, for about 8km, and is currently the only passenger rail service of any kind in Cambodia! It's due to close on 30th April (according to our tuk-tuk driver) ...

Time to leave Siem Reap after a brilliant few days visiting the temples and relaxing in our lovely hotel. We were heading to Battambang for 2 nights, on the way back to Phnom Penh. The bus took around 5 hours and when we arrived we found a tuk-tuk driver holding a sign with our name on, in amongst the crowd of drivers all dying to get you to go with them! After a busy three days at the temples, we had a lie-in this morning before making it down to breakfast just before it ended!
