25th September
For breakfast we helped make fried bread which was delicious then we helped with the daily choirs. We took the sheep from their pen to a patch of grass for grazing and tethered them there. Then collected water from the lake and watered the plants and vegetables in the green house, prepared the peapods for lunch and then dug a 10meter long trench in the garden for a water system to be fitted the next day.
At 10 we walked up to the school and our group, plus two other gadventure groups, played football with the locals. I played cheerleader! Then the families, in traditional dress, danced for us, and then it was our turn!
We went back to our families for more food, collected our stuff, said goodbye and took the boat back to Puno.
In the evening we went to a restaurant with a dinner show and then to a few bars to celebrate the 'festival of young people'.
