Happy New Year ya filthy animails!!!

Hope you are all well and had a great xmas and New Year! We had an amazing few weeks, just about recovered.

We began our christmas festivities with our xmas eve meal out which was nice, with the girlies followed by cocktails in Bondi this was followed by dawsons Crack DVD as we had eaten too much and couldn't fit anymore in!! not good. Anyway Christmas day was a little surreal, we enjoyed a nice turkish brekkie with Laura(German) at 7.30am, just us 3 sat in our little stinky livvng quarters then once she had left it was "just the two of us". Whilst listerning to Mariah Carey on the ipod we opened our much appreciated gifts sent from home and to eachother, covered in tinsel and xmas crap which Kaz sent (thanks for that mum!). Loved it. Later on that day we met up with Bibby and Lauren and went round for our xmas BBQ at Nicks flat on bondi. We had gorgeous food and champers, kangaroo and yes we had shrimp on the barbie!!! We hit the beach around 4pm so the boys could surf and us to drink, well more. It was an amazing atmosphere and completely loved it! We finished the day with a party back at Nicks!

Boxing day we were not feeling the love but had to man-up for a 5 hour cruise around the harbour at sunset!! Us and 498 to be exact people, danced and drank on the top deck whilst watching sydney city at sun-set. With DJs and live music, it was just frickin brilliant!! However it was just like being in Leeds due to half the people being from there or have gone to uni, random but an experience.

The next few days all kind of merge into one, we had a couple of quiet nights in with Bibby, Lauren and Dawsons Creek dvds (took us back to the good old times) and sorted ourselves out for a few mental nights out with Mr Phil Greening. Can not remember too much but we were wining and dining in some of top Sydney bars and clubs!....of course!!!!

Sunday, New Years eve. Again our bodies were put to the test, we got the bus into the city around 4pm still feeling drunk from the night before, with bottles of vodka in hand we met up with Bibby, Lauren and her parents who were just amazing. Due to the weather being very windy and chilly we spent a couple of hours in a bar sipping on cocktails before heading into the mass crowds at circular quay (near the harbour bridge). After buying some fun hats we squeezed ourselves into the perfect spot next to the bridge to watch the fireworks. We were interviewed for an ozzy news chanel and for a newspaper!! random. The fireworks were just incredible and had the best night, so un-organised with no stress!! We brought 2007 New Year in with a bang and headed back once we had stuffed our drunken faces with corn dogs!!! nice!??

Another following week in which the days just rolled into one, here are some highlights:

• Went for a gorgess meal with Bibby, Lauren and her parents around Darling Harbour and a night at their gorgess apartment having a girlie night.
• Spent a great day trip with Kelly at Watsons bay, with a few glasses of wine and fish and chips.
• Met up with Bonza!!!! a load of us went for Thai and drinks around Bondi, it was great to catch up, he is still a nutter.
• Had a couple of day son the beach soaking up the sun. Paris Hilton was around but obviously we was too busy tanning up to notice.
• Watched the cricket on the big screen around near the bridge.

We moved out of the stinky Brizo pad on the 8th, back to Nur and Aydins house which was just lovely to have some nice home comforts and not be living with absolute randoms. Today (10th jan) however it was time to say our goodbye to Oz and get a stupidly early flight to New Zealand. So who knows where we will be or what we are going to be doing but it is time to get jobs and save.....arrraghhhh!
