Today has been yet another beautiful day. Work went fast which was good and we finished an hour earlier than usual, which was a nice start to our days off. Our supervisor sprayed us all with bug spray, so we didn't get hassled by the mossies today!

After work we signed up for the water rafting trip which takes place in a few weeks time which is something to look forward to! Then we drove to Jasper with Mayumi and Lyndsay (japanese and canadian housemates) to get a pass for our car but the office closed at 4:30pm! So we have to go back tomorrow during the day. We went to the cool candy store in Jasper and I had frozen strawberry yoghurt with fruit pieces and Jacob tried the very sickly peanut butter icecream! They had so many interesting flavours there - Jacob sampled an orange and liquorice icecream and I want to try the butterscotch icecream sometime. Lyndsay bought some candy from town which were green tea citrus hard boiled sweets - they were really good.. Taste just like nestea greentea/icetea! On the way home, we saw lots of mountain goats crossing the road, looking as though they were heading to get a drink from the lake and saw three more baby deer back at our work site.

When we got back we had some rice and vegetables for dinner. I was happy as I got to have water chestnuts which I love! After a long day, it's now time to settle down for bed. Looking forward to exploring tomorrow. We're going to visit Maligne lake and possibly rent a canoe or do some walking!
