Today was a much needed day of leisure and pampering! Our morning was spent at what coulda woulda shoulda been a very romantic spa package and setting. We received a traditional Balinese massage and scrub down which was followed by an outdoor flower bath. The ambiance was all too perfect and only enhanced with the natural Ubud soundscape. Our bill came to a whopping $25.00 each.

You all know too well that we can only sit still so long, ergo we were off to explore! We visited the temples, Pura Saraswati and Puri Saren and stumbled upon a beautiful rice field walk. We ate lunch at a tiny local restaurant in the middle of the fields where we watched the locals harvest 50lb sacks of rice.

We couldn't resist the thrill of haggling at the Ubud night street market for a couple of hours. We walked the Penjor lined roads of downtown and sought out the much suggested dish babi goleng, or "suckling pig".

With a 2am wake up time, we scurried home to get a few hours of shut eye.
