One day at the beach wasn't quite enough for us so we headed out on our motos to compare An Dang to Cua Dai Beach. Deciding to crash one of the nicest beach resorts in Hoi An, we strutted through the lobby and out to the infinity pool like we belonged. Awoken by gongs sounding loudly at 5:30am, we rushed to our balcony to see what the fuss was all about. It was a funeral procession and at least 200 locals surrounded a wooden casket. A couple of hours later we heard people raging to techno music for a wedding. So much for us sleeping in for the first time! Dying to get back on the open road, we rented motos for the day. Hoi An is famous for it's custom tailoring. To check out all the hype we browsed fabrics, got our measurements taken and had a few things made for us. With only a 24 hour turn around time, we are excited to pick everything up tomorrow! Overwhelmed from all the shopping, we treated ourselves to a lovely rooftop dinner at Cargo Restaurant on the river. We shared plates of Vietnamese seafood dishes, desserts and a few margaritas.

With a fresh start in a new country, we ate a typical Vietnamese breakfast in a family style kitchen. Advised that Vietnam was the place to ride motorbikes, we couldn't wait any longer to join the madness on the streets.
