Lanes Australia Trip
We drove out to Kakadu, it was a long drive. We stopped at the Windows on the Wetlands, it showed us the types of animals and plants in the wetlands. Then we went to Jabiru for lunch, (Ethan rhymed all the places with poo! Like Kakapoo and Jabipoo!) We went to Ubirr (pronounced Obeer) and did the Aboriginal art walk. We saw some amazing artwork, the Mimi art and x-ray art. Some of the work was over 20000 years old. We walked up to the escarpment and looked over the wetlands it was fantastic. It was like looking at the scene out of Lion King where Simba is held up at the top of the cliff, awesome. On the way home we saw dozens of wallabies with a stripy face known as the agile wallaby. It was 7pm before we got back.
