Patti and I worked on where we would be going for the next three days and the three of us would work together as we travel. It is true that many state parks are fully booked. Wind Creek State Park is a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days. So many things to do or just sit and do nothing. Lots of families and a wide variety of RVs. It has the second largest lake in Alabama, equine camping, zip lines for kids, playgrounds, bath houses everywhere and man made sand beaches. Yesterday I forgot to mention I had to drive by Mammoth Cave instead of stopping as I had originally planned. Guess I’ll have to come back this way again. A shorter drive today but still about 3.5 hours. Changed time zones only twice between Alabama and Georgia. We had to be at the factory in Tallapoosa GA for a 1:30 appointment only to install the unit. They install the SafeTplus and then take you on a test drive to make the adjustments. Another long drive today. The trees and flowers are still blooming with added white colors. Again lots of traffic and construction. The day was a mixture of rain and sun.
