After a short flight from KL and a bus and boat journey we arrived in Riley Beach which is a penninsula near Krabi. Its very pretty with palm fringed sandy beaches and clear water. We sat and watched a beautiful sunset with a beer in our hand after swimming in the warm sea, nice. To my delight the hotel bar was showing the Wales v France 6 nations match and although I hate both of the teams it was great to watch some rugby as i've been getting serious withdrawl symptoms! Layne met an Aussie dude and they sat having a few beers and White Russians whilst talking kak. We planned to hire a kayak and visit some nearby islands and even though Layne woke up with a hangover we still thought it would be a great idea. We paddled for about an hour across to a beautiful island with pure white sand and crystal clear blue water that was teeming with tropical fish. Layne was feeling rough and I had a bit of a headache but we chilled out for a few hours. The paddle back was a nightmare, Layne had a full blown headache and I felt rough and we had no water and we got sunburnt even though we had factor 30 on and the kayak wouldn't steer properly. After about an hour we arrived back and managed to crawl back to the hotel. Its very hot and we are sweating our t*** off. Layne is having fun perving at the topless ladies and their arses! Next stop Phi Phi!
