We headed to the beach resort of Mui Ne mainly because its a top place to kite-surf and ever since Layne saw his mate Jake do it in SA he's wanted to learn so he too can be cool like all the other surfer dudes. We flew Laos Airlines into Hanoi on a small propeller plane, the guide books actually say not to use this airline cos of a poor safety record but adventure is my middle name.
