A scenic ski lift ride, 13km hike in my lacoste fashion trainers and a bit of moaning with Becks later and we finally made it to the top of Mount Kosciusko (the highest point in Australia)! Squatters constant politically incorrect, chit chat kept us entertained as he was calling the Germans 'bus killers' for their lack of sense of humour! Well at least it was all worth it, with all the mist we could see absolutely nothing, ha ha!

Meanwhile, me and becks, a primary school teacher from the uk were shocked to see how close we were to the edge of the cliffs as we were driving through the mountains! We were an inch away from being one of the bus disasters on the news for about 5 hours! One of squatters jokes of the afternoon, he was explaining how red back spiders can kill children as he looked at the vertically challenged german and said 'you'd be a gonner' ha ha! Squatters not really getting on too well with team Italy as they keep being late for the bus and he's driving them mad because in the words of the italians 'everythings run, run, run'!!!

Just driven past Victorias first school built in the 1860s! Today we have experienced four seasons in one day from blistering heat to freezing cold storms and thunder, surreal!

Day 3 and a 5.30am start and were back in the bus to Wilsons promotory, Victorias national park to walk across the stunning 'squeaky' beach to have lunch before traipsing through the national park to see emus, kangaroos, redbacks and blue tongued lizards! The sun has got his hat on and were now en route to Melbourne! Gonna miss my road trip buddies :0)
