Today I went to Ratu Meli school for 6 to 14 year olds to do some volunteering! All the children board there all week and take the boat home to their islands at the weekends! There is 8 classrooms and about 180 children attend the school! It's funded by the government and their is also a honeymoon island close by which all the money directly goes to the school! As addy and her two friends gave me a tour, they showed me the water tank, a huge concrete container with a man hole on top which the children swim in! I did some art with the kids as their English is already excellent! We then went outside to play netball and I was amazed at their skill, they'd beat 'the eggs' no problem! The kids here are so grateful of everything, such a contrast to the lil English cherubs!!!
