Hi All

Am currently in Dogubayazit which is 30 minutes from the border with Iran!! On Monday we weill enter Iran so just done the last mınute shopping to buy clothes as we must be covered up. May is the annual crackdown month and we have heard that several women have been arrested for not conforming. I am apprehensive but looking forward to the experience along with all the other females on board. We are having a dressing up party tonight so that our driver Steve can check we all have the correct outfits to enter on Monday we also have copious amounts of alcohol to consume as its strictly forbidden in Ä°ran. (I am planning to take it easy I want to have a clear head for the occasion).

Before I forget I have received a few emails regarding going careful following the snatch in Bucharest. I am nearly always in a group and will not be repeating such again I failed to mention in the blog earlier that whilst I was being mugged my friend Av was being held by her throat by another female (who was wıth my attacker) obviously working in groups so I felt as if I had to act in the way I did.

Anyway have to leave now but will try and return tomorrow with photos my camera has just about survived the drowning as has my phone but I dont feel as though they will last long as they are playing up...sim card is fine though Mum/Dad so I will be keeping in touch!!
