Sneaky,
I can't believe it. You were in Cape Town the same week I was. I was on business there, but did get one day for shopping and tourist stuff. We were probably up Table Mountain at the same time!
Hope you're well. RAF Sam sent me your link. Will be in Dubai from tomorrow for 10 days if you happen to be passing through! ;-)

Raquel - so gutted not to be with you in South Africa - I've spent the last couple of months reading up on things to do and see between Cape Town and JBurg and am really upset not to be there with you! Well at least now you escape the bungee jumping! I got back home last night - my parents ended up driving out to Switzerland to pick me up from hospital as was in no fit state to fly. Now just hobbling around slowly, bored, and thinking about why my appendix needed to rupture just when it did! Can't wait to see you at Heathrow on your return my gorgeous! xxxxxxxxxxxx
Mum
Very impressed by the waterfalls and wildlife pics but felt sorry for the poor old horse hope you didn't make him go too far !! lot of love . miss you loads but not for long now !!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hola Rach. Reading your blog, I can't believe you're back in about 4 weeks and it is 6 weeks since I said bye to you in Auckland. Time is flying and I ain't on a truck through South America!
Another amazing blog. How many cuts and bruises have you accumalated?! Foz is amazing, your photos are fantastic. It was a trip highlight for meself too. The Pantanel looked great fun, there is a photo of you all fishing on the bank, take it there were no caymen there loitering in the shallows!
Thanks for the mention in your blog, Swindon was good fun, great to see Hicks and catch up with him. You'll have to pop along as the check is under new management and has been totally re-furbished! Very nice job too!
Have a blast in Rio and enjoy BA. Great blog and photos. Looking forward to the Rio set! Take Care, Miss you loads, See you in about a month! Maff

Rach my love I'm still enjoying your travel tales, inparticular your little contrasts to EOE. It's pretty cool that you saw the other guys! I'm all settled in at school and loving it. Spoke to Ave the other day she laughed solidly at me for 10 after discovering I wear a nurse life uniform! HAHA I'm also already planning my next trips. Hopefully Iceland at easter and then Israel in the summer. Got to check that they will let me in first though! I can't wait for you to come back I'm missing ya loads! Enjoy the carnival! xxx
P.s My mum got me a mountain dew t-shirt! How random?! I love it!

Ming!! Wicked to speak to you tonight - as you could have guessed, I'm so excited!! 16 days to go, and I hope to god that they don't drag! I'll be waiting for you at that airport arms outstretched, booze in hand (don't worry Rach's mum and dad - we'll behave!!) I can't believe it will be 11 and a half months since we last saw each other - life hasn't been the same, and I'm still truely gutted I couldn't have done the whole trip with you! You have a wicked time in Rio - and I'll try my hardest not to get us both killed in South Africa! How many days did you want to stay in Johannesburg.....!!!! Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Mum
Have enjoyed photos from SA so far especially the locals in their colourful clothes and the wildlife ! Have been wondering about the significance of the yellow underpants ! is it something the rest of the world should know about ???? No doubt you will fill us in when we see you in a few weeks !!!! Take lots of photos at the Rio carnival I'm sure it will compare well with Bridgwater !!!!!!?????!! Enjoy your last few weeks of freedom work looms on the horizon !! Love and miss you loads but not for long now xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Rach, I love it when you add more photos. A quiet evening at work and I can peruse your snaps, whilst having lunch and this time I can remember my trip to SA from your photos. THANK YOU.
Glad you're having a great time in SA. It is a fantastic place to travel. Argentina is an awesome country, as you say, wine, steak and beautiful people.
It is going to be great having you back in the UK, but at the same time, a little sad that no more photos and blog will be added, but then I'm just being selfish and thinking of the quiet nights at work!! haha!
