This morning the boys found a few Easter eggs left by Easter Bunny around our camper. We then headed out on our first 4WD adventure to the Sleaford -Wanna Dunes. It was fun driving around the dunes but the boys had more fun sliding down the dunes on boogie boards. They wore goggles to stop the sand getting in their eyes. This morning we drove into Whyalla, we passed a huge wartime ship on the side of the road which is a Maritime Museum so we stopped for our first "tourism" visit. We left Lake Culleraine early this morning and drove until dusk to get as close as possible to the Eyre Peninsula. We are having our first night in the camper - a bush camp off the road in the middle of no where! Actually it isn't too far from Whyalla. Today we stopped for coffee in Hallett in SA and I learnt it is the 8th windiest place on earth! Good to see they were making good use of it with power generating windmills.

After a big day driving yesterday we arrived safely at Lake Culleraine holiday park about 11pm thankful we had booked a cabin! The beds were lumpy - hopefully the camper will bring better sleep. Thought I'd mention I banged my right hand the night before we left. Its very swollen and I have limited movement but pretty sure its not broken.

All packed up and ready to leave on our Big Aussie Adventure! We are leaving 6 hours later than planned but we're on teh road! The plan - Around Australia in 14 weeks!
