This morning we drove into Whyalla, we passed a huge wartime ship on the side of the road which is a Maritime Museum so we stopped for our first "tourism" visit. It was interesting and the boys loved exploring the old ship. We then drove down the east Coast of the Eyre Peninsula, stopping to do the Mangrove boardwalk at Arno Bay (photo). We arrived at Port Lincoln just before 5pm and went to the visitor Centre to find out where we could camp (we were a little worried it would be busy as it is Easter weekend).

We set up camp at September Beach in Lincoln NP, next to a lovely couple from Melbourne - our first enconter with grey nomads.
