Queenstown kinda reminds of Chang Mai in northern Thailand. A busy hidden away little town with plenty of activities to do.
We took a gondola lift through a cut passage through the trees to the top. 1.5km with an almost vertical angle. At the top we payed for luge go carting. A non motored go cart purely working on gravity as you come meandering down the cliff side through tunnels and sharp corners. Got a bit confident by the third go and almost tipped the cart. Soo much fun and looking out on the views couldn't really ask for more... except a pair off gloves maybe.. my hands were frozen to the handle bars.
Jord booked to do the bungee jump on the Nevis at 150m.. me however just booked a seat spectating.! And I'm glad I did. Even got nervous on the bus ride over.. and I wasn't even jumping. I said the only way you'd be able to get me off that platform was to physically kick me off.!! But when we actually got up there they strapped the first girl in gave her the do's and dont's, took a photo and she was gone. All in less then a minute.. guess they know the longer you have to think about it the longer you have to talk yourself out of it haha.. so maybe I could've done it.. it was funny how they told everyone to jump out away from the ledge so they fall at the right angle and don't get whiplash.. but everyone bent their legs to jump.. but their legs sort of failed them and just fell off the platform.. I don't blame them, I don't think my legs would've worked either.!
