Got up around 8am today, and had some breakfast. Packed our bags, and read a book for a while, then at about 10 30, Smiles, Darren and I went for a drive up to Mount Glorious, a beautiful rainforest near their place. After driving around the rainforest for a while trying to find the township of Mount Glorious, we went back to a place called Samford, where we had lunch at the local pub and had a really yummy spinach+fetta filo/chicken parma. Then we had a look in a shop next door that was like a cross between a gift shop and a hippie shop. Outside the shop there were these little birds who had built a nest in the roof, and they kept trying to swoop everyone that went near them. Then we headed back to Sandgate, and hung out for a while before packing our stuff into the car and heading to the airport. We said goodbye to Col and Smiles and headed off to the plane. Waited at the gate and had a hungry jacks burger before boarding. On the plane I read a book, and Darren listened to some music, and eventually we landed in Avalon. We met Amy in the foyer, got our bags and headed out to the carpark, and Amy drove us home. Home sweet home!
