After two flights we made it to Krabi which is very hot, around 37 degrees! After a very hot bus journey we made it to Ao Nang and our hotel. We are staying in a small bungalow in a beautiful resort which is surrounded by jungle and animals. So far we have seen peacocks, chickens, cockerels, rabbits, turkeys, squirrels, sheep, cows, tortoises and lots of random looking insects! All these just wander around the resort! The pool and food are also very nice and we have had a nice relaxing time so far.
We went to the beach which was nice and very pretty, however the water was very murky (not quite the tropical blue we were expecting) and the long boats are so loud you can't hear yourself think. The water is lovely and warm around 29 degrees and there are lots of little hermit crabs on the sand :)
The limestone cliffs are amazing here, and we have one as a view from our swimming pool.
We're enjoying the sun, and after our adventures in Chiangmai it's exactly what we need.
