So today was a very good day! The first exciting thing that happened was that we were having a lazy day round the pool when suddenly a wild monkey came and started sipping from the pool. He came and visited a second time when Richard thought it was a good idea to go and take a close up picture of it and the monkey got very angry, bared it's teeth and looked like it was going to attack! Apart from this it was an adorable little monkey, and we had been waiting to see it :)

For the day we just relaxed by the pool and in the evening we had a lovely meal out in ao nang (our local town) and there were the cutest kittens that were looking for food. I just wanted to take one home with us.

We then had a walk on the beach which was very nice, as the promenade was all lit up and it was a very clear night. And then before I knew it Richard was down on one knee proposing to me...and of course I said yes!! It's an absolutely beautiful ring and we are both very happy people right now :) we decided to have a few drinks to celebrate at a local bar where they were playing live music and we have had a lovely evening.
