Sooo, it literally took forever to get to Korea. I suppose that is the price to you to get a relatively cheap ticket to fly to the other side of the world. I started in Lexington, which was fine; it's a small airport-- nothing could go wrong. Then I had a lovely layover in Chicago. No problem. Then I went to San Francisco. Where I had to stay overnight. I can sleep just about anywhere but I was hungry and everything closed at like 10, and I arrived later than that. Not cool. It was also cold. Note to self, pack a blanket next time.
Anyhow, I finally got WAY overpriced food in the morning and then anxiously awaited my plane. And my 9 hour plane ride. Those are always fun.
Upon my arrivial in Incheon airport I found the subway that Katie had directed me to and had to change lines.... It was not difficult though. I then arrived at my destination of Ujangsan.
And I didn't see Katie.
This was our determined meeting point. I knew of NO WHERE else to go. Luckily I am not nearly as frantic and nervous as I used to be. Instead of freaking out and getting worked up about the situation, I simply sat on a bench and waited.
And ta-da, Katie arrived about 15 minutes later.
It was about 6 pm when all of this happened so we went and had dinner. Some korea food that was good...and that I don't know the name of.
We then walked around the park. It has weird metal exercise machines. I have seen similiar machines in Germany and China. Maybe the US should invest in some....
