Rather provocative title, eh?
You'll be greatly disappointed in this entry if you think it is going that way....

After out late night at Papa Gorilla, we slept in. Which was lovely.
We then had a leisurely breakfast at Starbucks. Typical Americans right? Oh well, it was delicious. The "venti" size does not exist there. I am beginning to think it exist in only America. Maybe Canada.
Katie had told me that while in Korea I had to go to a typical Korean bath. Basically, it is a big spa with saunas, pools, "baths," and other luxuries. And it has a lot of naked people.
We went to Dragon Hill Spa which is the biggest in Seoul and maybe all of Korea. It was super nice. We signed up for a package and were able to use the facilities and also got a 1.5 hour massage. That was awesome.
I thought being naked would be SUPER awkward, but hey, when in Korea....

I'm going to preface this by saying, this day was quite possibily the best day of my life.
Other than the fact it rained. And rained. AND RAINED. I didn't really do a lot in the morning. I walked around and ended up going to the movie. I saw Dark Shadows; random thing to do in Seoul, but it was RAINING. What else was I supposed to do?
But, the evening was lovely. We went to a cat cafe.
What is a cat cafe?
Oh you know, a place where you buy coffee and hang out with thirty cats.
Also known as my version of heaven. We were there for hours.
The ugly naked sphinx cat loved us. I wanted the little munchkins to be our friends but they were more interested in sleeping and wandering around. I probably took the most pictures here.
Sad, I know.
We then walked around Hongdae. The happenin' scene, remember? And then we ate Taco Bell. Don't judge us. You know you get hankering for Taco Bell; don't lie. Taco Bells in Korea serve french fries. How weird is that?

I went to Insadong. It is a pedestrian friendly part of the city with typical Korea crafts, foods, galleries, etc. Sooo, that was fun. I also found a place that had bubble tea. If you don't know what bubble tea is, google it. It is delicious and after I found a place that had it I literally drank it everyday.
Katie and I went to Itaewon in the evening. Itaewon is very close to the US military base in Seoul so there are a lot of not Korean restaurants and not Korean people. Her friend had told her about a little hole in the wall Moroccan sandwich place so that is where we ate. It was good; I would've preferred regular (non-sandwich) Moroccan food, but I settled.
