May 20 DMZ tour. Well, it was intense. We made lots of stops. We first stopped at tunnel three. South Korea has found several tunnels that North Korea dug during the war, you know, to like sneak attack and now you can walk down them. They're like caves but more terrifying because they mark where landmines used to be. You also have to walk at like an 85 degree angle. We went to an observatory. There was a picture line waaaaay back where you could take pictures...

May 18 Alicja and I met up and went to a Buddist temple that had a bunch of lanterns. It was soon to be Buddha's birthday, so that is why it was all decorated. We walked around and there literally must have been 3000 lanterns in the tiny temple area. We then walked around Insadong and ate some sort of Korea food that is really just fried dough. Naturally, it was delicious. We also ate some dumplings and a veggie pancake; all with Korean names that I don't know...

May 11 Well, my first full day in Korea I decided to be extremely tourist-y. But hey, I was a tourists. I rode the subway to the heart of Seoul and walked around until I found a palace.
