This morning didn't start out very good trying to get Caleb interested in writing in his journal for school. School work is just the last thing he wants to do atm and it is getting quite hard to get him enthused. With 10 more weeks of it though he is going to have to get used to it :) I take my hat off to all the teachers out there!! I think some early nights will help.
We then went for a drive and got to see a couple of sights which was great. First we took the kids to the Kenworth hall of fame which they thought was really cool seeing all the big trucks... especially the one that's like Benny and Seany's Poppy's that he drives. Then we did a drive up Anzac hill to the lookout and could see out all over Alice.
We had a great lunch at bojangles, a really cool saloon bar in town. We loved looking at all the cool props hanging everywhere. Kids thought all the animal skins were awesome.
Then sal and I went to stock up on groceries for the next stage of our trip... the drive through the Gibson desert. I cooked up mums 'sweet curry' recipe to have for the first couple of nights, I haven't made it before so hopefully we don't go hungry in the desert ;)
Miss Indi had tears before dinner so she was the first one into bed!! We sent an email to caleb class to tell them about his adventure so far and sent some cool photos.
We have most the camp packed up ready for hopefully as early a start as we can in the morning.
