Cycled again today and never would have thought I'd say this but missed the rain from yesterday. It was so so hot and no breeze to even cool us slightly. Tess took a tuk tuk with Dee which made cycling a bit easier but it really was a challenge. Took us 1hr 15 minutes so by time I got there I had to get stuck right in to the weeding. Not what you want to be doing in that heat! Lewie played football again while Tess helped me for a bit and played with her new friends. By 3pm Lewie was shattered -cycling followed by football in blazing heat not a great combo. Dee was heading back to the Jasmine in a tuk tuk so the kids went with her and Joni said she could maybe ride lewie's bike back with me and Naseem but after working in the garden all day the rain started at 5 and we couldn't face the cycle back so just took a tuk tuk and left the bikes there which means we can't cycle in morning - woohoo!
Just had dinner in Jasmine tonight as everyone is shattered and the rain is back on. Now sitting in the common room about to put a film on and have a beer. Everyone looks like shadows of their former selves - dead to think how we will look in 2 weeks!
