woke early to watch the sun rise which was so beautiful! after returning to bed for a while we headed off to visit some local sights before heading down to our last hostel for the trip........a maori family's house! after the traditional greeting (touching noses!) we chilled out and took in the view!.......unfortunately their spa pool was broken so we caught up on the celebrity gossip on sky tv!!! yay !!! we had the biggest tea ever and even had some apple crumble for dessert! hmmmmm! tv called again and i managed to watch an episode of lost from series 2.......i love this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 23rd - 25th after arriving back in taupo we have really relaxed!...............its taken me about a day to catch up with this journal, do some washing etc! my whole body is aching from all of the recent events so its nice to take a breather! staying in a lovely hostel so planning on cooking a nice spag bol tonight! leaving tomorrow to travel the south island! not much time left before oz so might extend my stay here for another week! will write again soon! hope you are enjoying the journal? lots of love kristyxxx
