We are now in Jaipur, the pink city. And i must confess that things are getting a little better the further south we go

Jaipur is much more what we imagined India to be like. There is the old city within the walls and the newer part of the city which is more modern.

Sandeep has taken us on another whistle stop tour including a trip to see his family here.

We have been to the Monkey Temple (eeeew!) The palace of winds, Amber fort, City palace, Jaigath fort (with the worlds biggest cannon!) and to a fabric factory and a jewellers (yes we did have a ring a piece made).

We had a few problems with the hotels and have been sent from one hotel to another but Sandeep sorted it all for us.

We were also very naughty and went to Pizza Hut for our tea. There is only so much curry one can eat!

We were invited to Sandeeps house to meet his extended family, we were a bit dubious to start but they made us very welcome and confortable and we had alovely cup of tea!

Onwards tomorrow for Pushkar. Really not looking forward to Pushkar. I really didn't want to go there but in for a penny, in for a pound!
