We had to get up EARLY to get to the plane that takes us to Rome (Italy). After we landed and got our suitcases we soon learned that the Italian 10 minutes is way longer than our own when we tried to get on a shuttlebus. When we finally arrived in about 1 hour and 45 minutes we soon found our hotel Bergamo. It had a 1001 Nights feel to it and compared to the small rooms we encountered in Japan, very roomy. We soon set to the Colosseum where our walking tour of our guidebook should start. A little bit scared of the enormous line outside we soon discovered that you could skip the line by just taking a guide, only 5 euro's more! We looked around ourselves until it was time for the tour. After the tour we went to a restaurant for an early dinner. After "dinner" we continued our tour at Forum Romanum (besides the Colosseum) where we saw a lot of ruins of old villas, a bathing house and temples. I must say I recognized a lot from the game of Assassins Creed Brotherhood! After it closed we walked to a recommended ice-cream shop near the Pantheon. After that we walked back to the hotel, quite a walk, but we saw a lot of nice shops and restaurants along the way. Now an early bed, since we nearly got no sleep...
